We Are Still Here...And Our Lot is Fuller Than Ever

Hurricane Fay came and went, pssh...Fay. We prepared for it, but it was nothing more than a little wind and rain. So, it ended up just stopping us from working on Tuesday. Fay was like a highly anticipated movie that was just a waste of your time when you went to watch it. She may have slowed us down, but she hasn't come close to stopping us. We are back at it this week.

This week, I am going back to school. Don't worry, don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. It's only two days a week. I will still be putting in my fair share here, so it will be just like always. Everything you want and need to know about Horizon Coach will be reported to you by me.

One thing I did want to mention, if you happen to live nearby our office here in Arcadia you should really come and check out our lot. I walked out there this morning and was flabbergasted. It is jam-packed with all kinds of things. We've got buses (entertainer and passenger ones), travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, toy-haulers, I mean you name it and we got it. Next time you're driving down Highway 70 stop by and say "Hi." All of these new units we have on our lot are definetely worth your time. I hope to see you in here soon!

Hurricane FAY is on the WAY

It must be August in Florida. It seems like this time of year is always the "real" hurricane season. 4 Years and 5 days have passed since Hurricane Charley came roaring through Arcadia and to say the least, Horizon Coach didn't fare well. Much has happened since that mind-blowing (literally and figuratively) day.

This time we are hoping for better, much better. Not only for us, but for the whole area as well. It was such a tough time after Charley, many were left without their homes, some without electricity for over 2 weeks, and others with the feeling of, "What do we do now?" You truly become grateful for the little things in life after a situation like the one Charley brought upon us. From here, all we can do is prepare ourselves and hope for the best. Leave us alone Fay!!!

Two New Arrivals At Horizon Coach

Coyote and Spree have arrived and I'm not talking about the normal Coyote and Spree an RV Enthusiast would know of. This Coyote and Spree are two fun-loving cats who can be found hanging out in the service center at the Horizon Coach dealership in Arcadia, Florida. They have been at the dealership since they were adopted by the company back on April 21 from DeSoto County's Animal Services.
Coyote and Spree are brother and sister with Coyote is a boy and Spree is a girl. Without their two different collars (Coyote's is blue, Spree's is pink) it would be very difficult to tell them apart. They are easy to find when you are out in the service area, as they usually find you. They are still very young, so their curiosity levels are higher than normal.
The main reason why Horizon Coach decided to adopt the pair was to give them a safe place to live in a people-friendly atmosphere. Our parts associate even said, "You can say that they have became something like Horizon Coach's mascots, since they are named after two of our more popular brands of RV's." That is true as Coyote and Spree are travel trailers and fifth wheel RV's that come in all different shapes and sizes. Come on in and visit our two new arrivals, Coyote and Spree, they are a sight to see, while you're here take a look at our other Coyote and Spree models. You can pet and play with the cats the whole time you're here; however, the only Coyote and Spree available for purchase are the RV's.
